THE PROCESS
STEP 1
SCHEDULE A CONSULTATION.
It is important we get to know you and assess your tattoo prior to removal. Consultations consist of submitting a questionnaire, receiving a medical assessment, and discussing payment options. If you qualify for Foundation fee coverage or assistance, billing will be adjusted where appropriate. All consultations require an appointment. Please call or fill out a form for availability.
STEP 2
MEET WITH ONSITE DOCTORS.
Next, you will meet with our onsite anesthesiologist and dermatologist for a medical assessment and examination of your tattoo. Our doctors will walk you through the process and explain the procedure relative to your needs. You have the option to elect one of our pain management systems with the approval of our practitioner. We will work with you to schedule sessions aligning with your calendar.
STEP 3
REWRITE YOUR FUTURE.
Tattoo removal can take multiple sessions, and we use the best laser in industry. The Pico Discovery PLUS generates a pure photo-acoustic effect to shatter inks and pigmentations leaving surrounding tissues unharmed. This laser targets even the deepest skin pigment, and once your treatments are complete, we will follow up with aftercare procedures.

Tattoo removal is a lengthy and committed process that varies per person. Skin type, tattoo layering (if tattoo is a cover-up), location on the body, ink color, and the amount of ink used for the design directly effect the amount of sessions.

Tattoo removal carries the stigma of being excruciating, but in fact many patients experience a sensation way less than their expectations. Patients will feel a level of pain that is bearable, similar to receiving a tattoo.

WILL TATTOO REMOVAL LEAVE A SCAR?

When a laser treats the skin, it targets and breaks down the tattoo pigment in the skin. If pre-existing scarring is present, it will break down this pigment within the scar tissue. Once the tattoo removal process is complete, the ink will have been eliminated from the location but any of the scarring from the original tattoo will likely still remain.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Following protocol results in temporary effects, and the most common side effects are redness, tenderness, swelling, blistering, scabs, bruising, hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation. Redness, tenderness, and swelling typically subside within a day or two following treatment.
